Last Weekend...
Last weekend we to Mt. Dutton camping. Dave had found a cabin on the internet to rent for only $30 a night! It was SO much better than staying in a tent, especially since it rained all weekend! It didn't have electricity or running water, but it has a propane stove and a wood stove, so we were able to heat the place and stay nice and warm at night. The area was so pretty! Just a little 4-wheeler ride away was the edge of the mountain where you could see everything. We only saw a couple other vehicles the entire time we were on the moutain, but no one would have been able to camp anywhere near us because we had a huge fenced off area to ourselves that was part of the cabin.
The truck got really muddy from all the rain! We were planning on camping Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but Dave and I decided to go home Saturday night because the first night the babies didn't sleep well at all and were up half the night! We thought we'd be nice and let my parents enjoy the next night without us! That first night Dave took Aniston and drove all the way off the mountain to the bottom of the hill (12 miles) at about 12:30am to try to get Aniston to sleep. She slept the hour and a half they were gone, but just before getting home Dave hit a HUGE rut in the mud and it woke her up! We didn't realize until we got home that that huge rut actually did some damage to the truck! The CV boot cover came off, and Dave went to get it fixed the other day and they said it was going to cost $180 to fix it because they're going to have to replace the whole axle! Ouch... we haven't done it yet, but we'll definitely have to do it before I go to Wyoming in a week.
We all enjoyed going for a few 4-wheeler rides between the rain storms. In the above picture I'm holding all the kids as they were sleeping. In the bottom left picture you can see where we were on the top of that mountain, where it's getting rained on. That was from a small town called Circleville. I took that picture on our way home, while my parents were still up there.

Looks like a fun place to stay! Cabins aways make it so much nicer with kids. That stinks about your truck though!
