Ode to "Scarfy"

Ode to "Scarfy!" (written for Aaralyn)

What happened to thy fringed end?
"I chew it" says it's little friend.
Green tag-along, and now where art thee?
Aaralyn misses her beloved "scarfy!"
The replacement red and stripped one
just isn't half as fun.
She only loves the shaggy you,
who's strings now equal only two.
Come back, come back to me!
We met last year beside the tree.
Please say this isn't the end,
you are my oldest and dearest friend!

That's a darling poem - and so are all the pictures. Dave looks pretty classy on that horse. Did he get all stuffed up from being around it?

That is such a cute poem--good work! Isn't it funny how kids get so attached to things that we find disgusting a ragged? Jackson has a stuffed fox that he has to sleep with every night-- it's so ragged and worn--but it loves it so much!
